Food & Processing Technology
The branch of Food Processing Technology is one of the most emergeing branches in the field of Engineering. This institute is the only institute amonst all the Polytechnics in the state to offer this course. The intake of each batch is 60. The main aim behind running this branch is to bring a wave of food processing sector in the northeastern states.
Vision
- To create an environment where students can develop their sound knowledge and understanding of the current theories, concepts, laboratory practices, human resources, and technological skills to technically fit them for higher education as well as for the rapidly growing food processing sector.
Mission
- To provide education to the students in food processing, technology, and engineering aspects of food.
- To provide relevant education to the students in food processing and allied sciences.
