Mechanical Engineering
The branch of Mechanical Engineering is one of oldest branch in engineering and has played in pivotal role in the Industrial revolution. The branch has scope in many sectors like Oil and gas, Automobile, Quality control and monitoring, Robotics and CNC, etc. The intake of Mechanical Engineering in Udalguri Polytechnic is 60. The branch is equipped with high quality labs and workshop and aims in providing it’s students with quality engineering knowledge with practical insight.
Vision
- To provide students with the environment where they can learn and grow up to their full potential and create wonders in Mechanical Engineering and excel in their careers.
Mission
- To educate the students in Mechanical engineering so that they can relate practically to all the mechanical engineering that have surrounded them since day one.
- To make the base of the students strong enough with old basic mechanical concepts so the they can build the skyscrapers of new emerging technologies on top of it.
- To mentor the students not only in their studies but also in the upcoming careers.
- To nurture the curiosity of the students with new project, ideas, brainstorming session and more.
- To provide in hand practical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering in our newly setup labs which would make the students industry ready.
- To make the students familiar with the other engineering subject like Coding , Electronics, Mechatronics, Food Science ,AUTO CAD, ANSYS , CATIA, Robotics , Renewable energies, etc. so that students can indulge themselves in interdisciplinary projects and studies.
